There’s beauty in the becoming.
While Encouraging Connection focuses on helping people find clarity, capacity, and calm in everyday life, For The Becoming is a more personal and creative expression of that same heart.
I’ve always loved finding beauty in nature, but even more, I love discovering the meaning and lessons tucked into the ordinary things around us. Through my original photography, I hope to share little glimpses of beauty, faith, reflection, and everyday encouragement.
The sunlight filtering through the trees. An old barn that reminds us of resilience. A winding road that invites us to look for beauty even when we can’t see what’s ahead.
From time to time, I’ll feature a photograph along with the inspiration behind it and the option to purchase a print. My hope is that each one encourages you to pause, look a little closer, and find something meaningful in your own journey of becoming.
Because life isn’t just about where we’re going. It’s also about who we’re becoming along the way.

The story behind the photograph
I captured this image on a crisp autumn morning as the sun peeked through the trees along my driveway. It was one of those ordinary, everyday moments that invited me to pause and take in the beauty around me.
As I stood there that morning, I found myself thinking less about the destination and more about the journey itself.
Life inevitably brings challenges. There are unexpected twists and turns, changing seasons, and times when we can’t quite see where the road ahead is leading. Sometimes we’re so focused on where we’re going that we forget to notice the beauty along the way.
We’re each on a journey, and not every season is easy. But even in the middle of uncertainty, there is beauty to be found. Sometimes it’s in the simplest moments of everyday life. Sometimes it’s in the people we encounter, the lessons we learn, or who we’re becoming along the way.
And perhaps the greatest beauty of all is remembering Who walks with us through every season.
That morning reminded me that beauty isn’t always found at the end of the road. Sometimes it’s right where we are, in the middle of the journey, quietly waiting to be noticed.
